HELLO GRAHAM, TELL US ABOUT YOU…

Hello, I am Graham, from Glasgow in Scotland. Myself and my wife Louise were looking for a property in Spain, and felt in love with this part of the Costa Blanca. We got in contact with Blansat Properties who showed us a beautiful property in Pilar de la Horadada and their freedom to be very very good to deal with.

 

WHAT WAS YOUR FIRST IMPRESSION?

First impression of Blansat Real Estate, when I spoke to Antonio Sr. who was a very professional gentleman who showed us the property that both since bought, he was very courteous, very professional, certainly seem to know enough a lot about the property and about the local area, and he was very good to deal with.

 

DID YOU KNOW THE TYPE OF PROPERTY YOU WERE LOOKING FOR?

We were looking for a property that had a minimum of two bedrooms, a second bathroom would have been a benefit to us as well. If I fell with on those criteria, I didn’t want a north-facing property because we do intend being here during the winter so to get sunshine the property would be good during the winter; but we were open to about professional guidance and assistance.

 

HOW DID YOU KNOW THAT ONE WAS YOUR PROPERTY?

I think from the moment we walked into the property that we ended up buying I had a very good feeling. When you have bought houses before you understand that the feel you get for a property in your first look into, the gut instinct is good then you know it is a good property to go for.

It had great dimensions, had three bedrooms, so an extra bedroom and two bathrooms, also and outstanding roof terrace with fabulous views down to Mar Menor and to Murcia across to La Manga strip and over to the sea so it was just the right property for us.

 

WAS IT DIFFICULT TO BUY THE PROPERTY?

It’s a very straightforward process buying the property. We put in contact with a lawyer and obviously Blansat helped us through the process. Antonio from Blansat couldn’t do enough for us, this was Antonio Jr., very knowledgeable, helped us through every tone.

I think the process took slightly under two weeks from start to finish, so it was hassle-free.

 

WHAT DO YOU RECOMMEND FOR PEOPLE WHO WANT TO BUY A PROPERTY?

I think first and foremost get to know the area where you want to buy a property; understand the area, understand whether it’s a place for you. And if you actually want to commit to buying a property there then look in as many “inmobiliarias” windows as you can, get a feel for what’s available, what the market looks like and obviously I am biased here but I will say go to Blansat Properties.

 

HOW WAS YOUR EXPERIENCE WITH BLANSAT?

Blansat is a very professional, well-run small company in Pilar de la Horadada. They are local to the area, they know the area, they know the property market within the local area and they are professional, courteous and very very helpful.
